So this past Friday I got my wisdom teeth removed and it was… awful. Today is the first day I can actually move my mouth with little pain. I still have to be careful of what I eat, however because if I eat anything too hard or sharp I could still open up my stitches. With that I knew I was going to be very limited on what I could eat, and I know the most common thing to eat is ice cream or jell-o. As much as I love those things I knew that there were still no excuses to eat completely awfully so I was careful to pick the right foods. So here are a list of foods that I ate and recommend eating if you ever get your wisdom teeth pulled or have some other surgery on your mouth that limits you to only eating soft foods:

  • All natural apple sauce
  • Sorbet
  • Greek yogurt
  • A very brothy soup
  • Oatmeal
  • homemade smoothies

Now I know that doesn’t seem like much, but with these things you don’t have to worry about taking in too much sugar, and you will feel full longer than just eating jell-o or ice cream. Make sure you drink a lot of water in between to maintain the hunger, but this is an Ariel approved list of soft foods to eat while you’re on that restriction!
