So if ya’ll couldn’t tell already I LOVE to bake, and I LOVE sweets. Most people who love sweets as much as I do run into a problem of seeing they’re waist getting a little bigger. But like I always do, I have yet another perfect alternative for a delicious treat that is too good to say no to, which is fine, because it is healthy for you. I’ve already posted a banana bread recipe, but this is for the chocolate lover (plus you can never have too much banana bread). Like the previous recipe this one is also gluten free, but unlike the previous one this one has no added sugar, but trust me you could never tell!

*preheat the oven to 350 degrees*

Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/2 cup greek yogurt
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup coconut flour (can try with wheat or almond flour as well)
  • 1/2 cup dark cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  1. first you mash the bananas as much as you can.
  2. mix the applesauce, greek yogurt, and honey in with with mashed bananas.
  3. mix in the cocoa powder and flour
  4. add the baking soda and vanilla, then finally mix in the chocolate chips.
  5. After everything is mixed together well, in a coconut(or olive oil) greased bread/loaf pan poor in the contents.
  6. put in in the oven and let it bake for 45 minutes.
  7. Let it cool and enjoy!

I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I do and don’t forget to live your Con{FIT}dent You! 🙂
