Yeah sometimes I do too. Yoga is something I started getting into about a year ago. I wasn’t sure how I would feel about it since I was used to doing work outs where I am constantly moving or lifting heavy weights. But I ended up LOVING IT. You see I have slight anxiety, I used to get anxiety attacks all the time for no apparent reason, and when I started yoga it kind of taught me how to breathe. Not just how to breathe, but how to breathe in good energy and exhale the bad energy. I was finally able to take control of my breath and my mind, and it was so liberating!

On top of helping my anxiety it made me sooo much more flexible and after every single session I felt like a brand new me. It was refreshing, and a good mix up to my daily routine. It was kind of like a detox for both my mind and my body.

Now I’ll admit that I’ve been slacking on the whole yoga thing, but I’m going to start getting back into it, and I’m starting today with sharing some of my favorite poses for a good core workout. If you go to the tabs and press “Work it out” and scroll to the bottom I have a yoga core work out posted, but I’ll go ahead and post the pictures here as well, and if you wanna see the names of the poses and the modification suggestions for one of them, then you can go to that tab if you’d like. Let me know what you think and if you have suggestions for something you’d like to see (for example your legs or working on flexibility), I can share some of my favorite poses for that as well 🙂
