This is my typical everyday breakfast. For every breakfast I try my best to have some kind of protein, grain/carb, fruit, and also a glass of water. This breakfast right here is as simple and easy as you can get in order to get all of those things. The reason I try my best to eat similar to this every morning is because it has the 3 most important factors in keeping me full longer: protein, carbs, and water.

The reason most people over eat through out the day is because they either didn’t have breakfast or it wasn’t a filling enough breakfast. I’m sure you have heard the saying “breakfast is the most important meal of the day” and that saying is mostly true. The reason breakfast is so important is because it gets your metabolism going for the day, once you put something in that stomach it awakens your metabolism which is why (if you’ve ever noticed) you are usually hungry faster when you eat breakfast vs when you don’t eat breakfast you feel like you can wait until the afternoon to eat sometimes. Now I understand that some people just can’t do breakfast, because you just don’t like to eat after you wake up, it’s too early so you feel sick, or you just don’t have time. I’m not saying breakfast is for everyone, and if you’re someone who isn’t super active it’s not going to completely hurt you to skip out on breakfast. However, I do recommend that if you do eat breakfast make sure it is filling and has your basics, which are the protein, carbs, and fruit, because I guarantee it will help with the over eating. I also highly recommend that you at least eat something small if you work out early in the morning. If you work out in the morning there should be no excuses to get something in your belly before you do that work out. If you are burning calories you don’t have yet, your body will kind of freak out, and start hoarding fat because it’s scared your not going to feed it the right way. Well that’s all for now.

Have a great day, and live your Con{FIT}dent You!
